- Have passed the qualifying examination in First Division (1st Division).
- Meet the eligibility conditions prescribed for the current academic session.
- Applicant must be a resident of Bihar.
- Applicant must have passed the previous examination in First Division (1st Division).
- For Intermediate (12th), only Muslim Girl Students of BSEB are eligible.
- For Maulvi, only Minority Girl Students of BSMEB are eligible.
- For Fokania, both Minority Boys and Girls of BSMEB are eligible.
- Applicant must belong to the Notified Minority Community (Muslim).
- A student can receive the scholarship only once in an academic year.
- Only one application can be submitted in an academic year. Multiple applications may lead to rejection.
